Alex Horton’s artwork is the amalgamation of ancient cultural themes, modern sub cultures and contemporary stylistic elements that have culminated in the body of work featured on this website. They have been produced through digital formats and traditional painting methods.
His artistic style places an emphasis on texture and strong, bold lines. Tribal design elements and animals feature in his artwork, and he is influenced by ancient legends, Asian art, Graffiti, Gothic art and science fiction.
Alex’s Giclée Prints are available in limited edition runs with the number of editions dependent on the individual artwork. All Giclée prints are printed using Epson long life pigment inks on 100% cotton matte archival paper. These prints are properly archivally handled and can be purchased unframed or framed.

Alex Horton works with a wide range of mediums and surfaces, including; inks, acrylic paint, pencil and airbrush on sanded plywood or paper. His style places an emphasis on texture and strong, bold lines. Tribal design elements feature in his work and having spent his childhood living abroad in countries such as China and Indonesia there is a strong Asian influence as well.
